Our Practice

The practice used to be a branch practice of Holt Dental Practice. Richard Brocklesby joined the practice in 1993 and became principal in 1995. Here at Reepham Dental Centre we pride ourselves at providing high quality preventive dental care in a friendly, relaxed and safe manner and environment. All our staff regularly undertake continuing education to keep up to date with the latest guidelines, techniques, materials and developments.
We have been a member of The British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme since 2000 and this ensures that we achieve certain standards and are compliant with all the relevant regulations. BDA Good Practice members are committed to developing and maintaining a consistent quality of service for their patients. The commitments made by each member practice are:
To provide dental care of consistently good quality
To work with you to provide care that meets your needs and wishes
To make your treatment comfortable and convenient
To check for mouth cancer and tell you what we find
To look after your general health and safety
To follow current infection control standards
To keep our skills and knowledge up to date
To monitor the quality of our service to identify opportunities for improvements

As Dental Professionals we must be registered with the General Dental Council and meet their standards. There are nine principles registered dental professionals must keep to at all times. As a GDC registrant you must:

Put patients’ interests first
Communicate effectively with patients
Obtain valid consent
Maintain and protect patients’ information
Have a clear and effective complaints procedure
Work with colleagues in a way that is in patients’ best interests
Maintain, develop and work within your professional knowledge and skills
Raise concerns if patients are at risk
Make sure your personal behaviour maintains patients’ confidence in you and the dental profession

In An Emergency.
We understand how unpleasant it is to be in dental pain and how important it is to be able to see a dentist quickly, which is why we keep some time free each day for emergencies.

If you have an urgent problem during practice hours please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you that day.

For out of hours emergencies please phone the practice and listen to the answer machine message, which will give you the number of the on call dentist.
